If its possible to be in love with a vehicle, I am love with this truck. I feel pretty in it and cooler than all of my friends when Im driving it. When I was deciding which mid-size truck to buy, I made my final decision for the Frontier because Consumer Reports gave it a rave review. The only thing they graded low on it was the turning radius, which is not a big deal to me. Once I learned about the Nismos specific bells and whistles, I waited for 6 months for one to come available.
I am letting go of my darling truck so I can afford to decorate and maintain the big beautiful house I just bought. I work from my home office and no longer need my beloved truck for long work trips. It may be higher in the mileage department, but virtually all of them were on the highway. Ive dutifully maintained and detailed it so it stays in peak condition. The only dent on the exterior is a small one on the passenger side from a rogue mailbox that jumped out into the road and hit me. Otherwise, its in great shape.
It is a white 2006 Frontier 4x4 Nismo crew cab truck. I bought it in 2006 with 10k miles on it from the owner of a Nissan dealership in Northern California. It had never seen snow or salt until last month during Kentuckys Snowpocalypse of 2010.
The features are as follows:
5 Speed Automatic Transmission
Super hot heat and super cold AC
16 inch Alloy Wheels
New tires at 80k miles
Rockford Fosgate Premium Audio Package (in-dash six-disc CD changer, MP3 compatibility, eight speakers, one sub woofer)
Satellite Radio
Moon Roof
Roof Rack (never used)
Automatic side mirrors
Towing Package (used only once for a Uhaul)
New brakes in January 2010
Driver and Passenger airbags
Traction Package (includes hill start assist, hill descent control and stability control)
Bilstein performance shocks
Keyless entry
Automatic windows and locks
Rear windows roll all the way down
NON-SMOKING
4.0-liter V6 that at 265 horsepower makes it the most powerful engine among the midsize trucks (yes Im bragging)
Bed-liner
6 cupholders (yes, that matters)
Steering wheel controls for and cruise control
One other important thing to note - this is the most comfortable vehicle Ive ever owned. I drove 2,500 miles from CA to KY and never once had a sore back. This is a great truck and there are very few in the market.
